We partner with our clients to ensure all projects align with good environmental practice, regardless of their decision to seek formal accreditation. Geyer has a proven track record with sustainable projects delivered to industry benchmark standards. We understand the relationship between the base building, the interior environment, client operational protocols and the combined impact on environmental performance. Accredited and experienced with Green Star, LEED and Green Mark rating tools we guide our clients to a sustainable outcome.
Most recently we have been working with BHP Billiton in Singapore and their ESD Consultant Arup to seek accreditation for Green Star, Green Mark and LEED Platinum certification. The team have explored innovative approaches to sustainable design, taking a two or ten year approach to longevity and obsolescence, contributing to research and development locally and globally. We have an established ESD specification database for our professionals to ensure products have obtained environmental ratings and certifications.
Geyer's policy specifies that any product that comes into our resource library from suppliers or manufacturers must provide details of relevant sustainability ratings and performance.
Geyer completed Melbourne's first sustainable Green Star Office Interiors v1.1 for the Victorian Auditor Genera's Office in 2007 and more recently we have achieved 5 Star Green Star for the Department of Transport and Mirvac.
In Singapore we have achieved LEED Platinum and GM Platinum for BHP Billiton, GM Gold Plus at MBC and GM Gold at MBFC for American Express, Green Mark Gold for Macquarie Group and are awaiting accreditation for Bank of America Merrill Lynch and Citi who are both registered for LEED Gold and ANZ for Green Mark Gold Plus. Rio Tinto's recently completed Brisbane Headquarters is awaiting certification for 6 Star Green Star and additionally we have Arup, AMP, Australia Post, IAG and Worksafe registered for accreditation with the Green Building Council in Australia.
