The new Arrow Energy workplace provides a space that enhances the existing work culture by creating an open, flexible and collaborative environment that is safe and sustainable.
The creation of this new facility enables Arrow to consolidate most staff to reflect the concept of a ‘single Project Team'. Whilst recognising the two international owners, the fitout also reflects the Queensland brand and importance of the two way dialogue between the team.
Geyer's experience within the resource sector enabled a significant amount of benchmarking material to be referenced to determine appropriate space standards, including client/front of house space, the number and format of meeting rooms, and the size and type of staff engagement and support space. The interconnecting staircase is a key feature of the project as it supports Arrow’s key aspiration to enhance the culture within the organisation by connecting people.
There are some specialist work areas within the new environment which vary from the traditional floor layouts. These include the Energy Trading Group, a large Communications Rooms which will support a future Control Room (targeting for completion in 2015), and the Real Time Management Centre which will allow Arrow Gas Rigs to be remotely monitored and operated.
