Geyer has been working with National Australia Bank to progressively refurbish their 255 George Street headquarters. With the extension NAB’s lease at 255 George Street for the next twelve years, and concurrent works being undertaken by building owners AMP Capital / Brookfield Multiplex, a unique opportunity was presented to refurbish the base building and refresh the NAB tenancy floors that have not been recently upgraded.
The headquarters houses multiple distinct business unit groups operating under a common brand and culture. Geyer facilitated working sessions which brought representatives from these groups together to establish a common vision for the refurbishment program, identifying both current and future needs. The project involves the integration of NAB’s workplace standards, 'Workspace @NAB', which provides a flexible work environment with hotdesks, lockers and numerous informal meeting areas for the diverse and mobile NAB employees.
Throughout the project, Geyer has continued to engage with stakeholders across NAB and to identify unique business requirements to be accommodated within the NAB standards.
